Our Puppy Socialization Class offers students a unique class experience. This class will introduce your puppy to many new and exciting experiences in a safe and controlled environment. Your puppy will meet other puppies of a similar age and size under the guidance of an experienced trainer. Class discussion includes how to help your puppy develop appropriate and healthy play with other dogs. Beyond structured puppy play, we will be working on positive exposure to husbandry exercises, and begin learning foundational training skills that set your puppy up for success.
Basic manners is a great starting point for puppies and dogs that haven’t had much prior training experience. The course curriculum focuses on developing foundational training skills to teach your dogs basic obedience skills (sit, down, stay, come, mat training, etc.). The class discussion addresses general behavior concerns, and the core classwork builds dog engagement and focus.
This class is a continuation of our ‘Basic Manners’ class. The Beyond Manners class focuses on more advanced training such as loose-leash walking around distractions, building reliable recalls, ‘stay’ with distractions, focused attention, sending to a mat with relaxation on the mat, and more.
In this advanced-level class, we build upon the intermediate-level skills learned in Beyond Manners. The curriculum is designed to challenge your dog with advanced training skills in distracting and difficult real-world environments.
